What is the ‘Succinct US 200’ list of stocks?

To monitor the performance of large-cap stocks, we use our universe: the top 200 stocks listed on U.S. exchanges by market capitalisation — including ADRs (i.e., leading foreign companies) — with a daily trading turnover over $100mn (i.e., liquid enough for retail investors). We include companies regardless of profitability or how long they’ve been publicly listed.

Why not simply use the members of the S&P 100 or S&P 500 index?

Because the index criteria excludes many significant stocks for extended periods of time (Uber, Palantir, Spotify, + all ADRs), which are of interest to investors.
